wow wow WOW. I've been trying to release something legit under wheredidyougo for about 4 years now and I cannot believe this is /finally/ happening. I actually started attempting to record an EP a year ago today, and here I am--using none of those recordings at all. The last year has been a lot and I'd prefer to forget it ever happened but I'm happy with where I'm at now in my life. I digress
It's just surreal, and with this also being the debut of Collective Noise as well as the "I Have Zero Idea What The Fuck I'm Doing" zine it's just
a lot (I'm beyond excited, can you tell?)
I do hope you enjoy this little cassette here, these are actually some of my favorite songs I've written. I ripped the audio from some videos of a parking lot show and a video I took in my excitement of writing something new a few years back
/Anyway/, I'm very sentimental about this release and project in general, it's come along way from what it started as in 2015 in my shitty on campus apartment in SLO. I've made a last minute decision to include a really old song from that era that I've basically scrapped on the cassette. So, cool for you! (sorry online listeners) I would have used to old recordings, but junkie tweakers broke into my apartment, squatted in it, and sold a bunch of my shit. So, well make do, but I'll figure it out.
First batch of cassettes ended up being only 10 tapes. Working on a second run but check back here for updates (god I need to make a facebook page or something)

I really don't know where I'd be in my life without you guys. You guys inspire me and our music projects/adventures are what keep me alive. This project was honestly created out of my boredom and inability to play music while I was so far away for college.
Summer, for recording the secret parking lot wheredidyougo set that got me excited enough to make this cassette. This wouldn't be happening right now without you.
